LETTER: Someone please sort out Network Rail

In reply to D Mead (Mail, October 8).

Nicholas Draper lives in Belvedere Close and I guess you are another sad Network Rail worker or fan. I am not sure where you live on Hawthorn Bank.

When I moved here six years ago, the last train was 9pm.

D Mead, what really upsets me is when you see loads of Network Rail workers doing nothing while the taxpayers fund this. It’s clear Network Rail are arrogant and ignorant to people’s complaints and to say problems have gone away is rubbish.

The barriers on Hawthorn Bank are still taking too long to open up and I wonder what Lord Porter is doing about this. Maybe he should ask his friend David Cameron to sort Network Rail.
