LETTER: Pride Awards was marvellous

The Pride of South Holland event was a marvellous celebration of the many wonderful people who live, work and volunteer in South Holland.

This year’s event was made even more special by the amazing 89-year-old celebrity guest, Colin Thackery who sang to the enthralled audience.

Well done to Jan Whitbourn for all her hard work, it all came together beautifully with Diamondz Dance group and the choir from University Academy Holbeach who were both superb.

I thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon and look forward to supporting a category again next year.
