LETTER: Porter thinks wheelie bins are unsightly

The council is against wheelie bins because Lord Porter of Spalding is against them as he thinks they are unsightly outside people’s houses.

I think Lord Porter should look at being a proper leader of the district council instead of sucking up to David Cameron and getting a knighthood that would be better suited to someone who does good for people and charities.

I’m sure the council pays Mr Porter enough for a good standard of living unlike lots people in Spalding who are finding life tough with all the government cuts and giving billions away in aid and dropping bombs on Syria even though America has been doing it for a year with no great success.

I look forward to your reply Lord Porter.
