LETTER: Parade not as good as last year

I thought the parade was good this year but not as good as last year.
It became very ‘samey’ – here comes another tractor or another lorry and it wasn’t clear what they were representing.
It was also very stop and go. We were at the top of West Elloe and although the bagpipes never made it to us, the lead of the parade came past at 11.40am and it was still going at 1.15pm so we went to The Moorings for a pint.
