LETTER: Mistaken in conclusion over article

In reference to Mr Meekings letter (Voice February 20) I am afraid that he is mistaken in his conclusion that I had not read or had misunderstood the FullFact/Eurostat article to which he refers.

As I said in my original response it is very easy to garner a few facts from statistics to support a chosen viewpoint.

It would seem that Mark Twain made a fair point when he said that there was “Lies, Damned Lies and Statistics”.

I do think that the seven Conservative MPs we now have will work together for the benefit of all Lincolnshire as after the total disaster for Labour in the election they will have a strong voice in Westminster which can only be good news for us all.
Thank you,
