LETTER: I lose interest in letters after the first sentence

I am getting the impression that the Voice should be renamed The Meekings Weekly.

Each week we are subjected to a long discourse on why it is wrong to leave the EU, long lectures on British history and the disasters which will befall us all.

Mr Meekings goes on at such length that I lose interest after the first sentence.

Perhaps all his energies could be used to put a positive spin on what I hope is the inevitable and, yes, I did vote to leave.

In my view of British history we seem to have survived without the EU for hundreds of years and we will do so again.
