LETTER: Has development boundary in Holbeach suddenly moved?

I read in your April 13 issue that plans had been submitted for 100 houses in Wignals Gate.

I find this rather strange as the “Local Plan” has taken years to formulate and submit and was completed for consultation in March this year. Now at the last minute (certainly after March 27th as this is the sign off date on the plans) an application was submitted which is not in the Local Plan and is outside the Development Boundary.

Having had numerous communications with Nick Worth regarding HOB011 and HOB039 (now HOB09), all of which stated neither site would proceed as too late for inclusion in the Local Plan and would not be considered again until the 2036 review, I find they are being considered.
How can this be?
