LETTER: Crush cars of fly tippers

Read the article in the last edition about the disgusting crime of fly-tipping and littering.
It’s a good idea to increase the amount for dumping filth on any piece of land they feel like.
Most of the culprits use the same areas regularly, so why don’t the council use common sense and put cameras up?
Once they have proof of the person and vehicle registration they only have to arrest them.
When they have them take them to the breakers yard and make them watch their wagon being crushed.
Now they have no transport they can’t continue with their discussing trade.
Job done.
