LETTER: Betting shop is not needed

Regarding the acceptance of another betting shop in the town, this is not the way to go.
I speak from experience as my family used to run a betting shop.
It brings with it an increased risk of anti-social behaviour. When people lose they often kick off.
This is not what the people of Spalding want in their town centre.
Do they really think it will increase footfall in the town centre?
Those who made the decision must not live in the area. They should be ashamed of themselves.
