A Moulton Chapel pub is gearing up for a free music festival this weekend including the first show for 40 years of a legendary local band.
The Jolly Farmer has four brilliant attractions at the Roman Road pub.
Among them is the return of local band Aqua.
They’ve reformed after nearly 40 years for the festival.
They will be performing an eclectic mix of chart topping hits and original material.
The Rock School Bus will be showing their talents and it will be stopping around for young people to try out some of the instruments on their specially-adapted vehicle.
Spalding band Who Shot Frank? will take to the stage from 4.30pm.
Described as an ‘extremely talented, high energy indie rock trio, known for their electrifying sound and adrenaline pumping-performances.’
“They blend gritty guitar riffs with catchy melodic hooks, creating a unique fusion that resonates with fans of all ages,” a spokesman said. “With influences ranging from Jimi Hendrix and Foo Fighters to Sam Fender and Kings Of Leon, Who Shot Frank? put on the very best indie rock shows, captivating audiences with the authenticity and passion for live music.”
Finally, after wowing last year’s attendees, The Sound Injectors are back with their brilliant brand of ska, reggae and northern soul.
A spokesman for the Jolly Farmer said: “Expect a brilliant mix of hit songs you know and some original material too.
“There will also be a good selection of ales and drinks and food served all day including a barbecue.”
