It’s been a busy month for Years Two and Three and St John the Baptist C of E Primary School in Spalding with The Great Fire of London and the Egyptians on their agendas.
Year Two have been studying the 1666 fire and shared everything they had learned in a presentation to parents.
They were also treated to a visit to Spalding Fire Station where firefighters showcased them the equipment they use while also giving tips on how to stay safe.
Year Three, meanwhile, spent an Egyptian day dressing up like the ancient civilisation and got the chance to do lots of themed activities such as dancing and cooking.
A spokesman for the school said: “They all had a fantastic day and gained lots and lots of knowledge and information to help with their topic work.”
