Three Spalding Gymnastics Academy talents helped Lincolnshire win the overall title at the inter-county regional team floor and vault finals.
Darcey Orford, Aimee Speechley and Amelia Fox all performed superbly at at New College Leicester, grabbing medals in the process.
Lincolnshire were up against the formidable foursome of Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, Northamptonshire and Derbyshire at the event, but they didn’t let that faze them.
In the 11 and 12 years age group, Spalding’s Orford helped the team to first position to claim a wonderful gold medal.
Next up was Speechley in the 13 and 14 age group who also won the gold medal with her team.
In the age 14 and over section, Amelia Fox did very well with her routines and the team won the silver medal for their efforts.
In the overall standings across the age groups, the Lincolnshire team also tied with Leicestershire to win the overall shield for the most points.
