People have been incredibly generous in supporting our Give A Gift appeal this year.
We have already received many gifts but we still need more presents and there are only a few days left to donate as the appeal closes at 5pm on Thursday, December 12.
The appeal makes a huge difference to struggling families across South Holland and Boston, ensuring less fortunate children aged between three and 14-years-old who wouldn’t get a present, have something to open on Christmas Day.
The Spalding and South Holland Voice has teamed up with Coun Mark Le Sage, founder of Ella’s Project, to launch this year’s appeal.
Thanks to Mark’s partnership with Lords Collectables, we will be able to accept monetary donations again this year.
Visit https://www.lordcollectables.com/catalogsearch/result/?cat=&g=toy+appeal to donate £1, £5 or £10 and Lords will buy the toys at trade price to donate to the appeal.
We’ll be delighted if you decide to support the appeal but ask you please not to gift wrap your present – they need to be assessed to ensure children receive suitable toys.
We respectfully ask that the gifts are in new or ‘as new’ condition and we are unable to accept cuddly toys, make-up, toiletries or food and perishable items due to health and safety.
All presents will go to South Holland and Boston Child Services to distribute in time for Christmas.
Collection points are:
Sainsbury’s, Holland Market, Spalding,
Nat West, Market Place, Spalding,
Calthrops Solicitors, Hall Place, Spalding,

The appeal closes on December 12, to allow the gifts to be collected, wrapped and delivered to Child Services for distribution in time for Christmas Day.
