Larger Long Sutton shop is sweet

A Long Sutton shop has a “sweet” new look after undergoing a makeover as part of an expansion.

Discount Diva in Market Place has had new flooring, been repainted and now has a confectionery room.

Business owner Emma Lilley said: “I started doing pick ‘n’ mix around six months ago and my customers loved it so I thought why not expand by making my second room into a confectionery room.”
Emma took the plunge of going self-employed, opening the shop in July 2013.

She said: “It seems to be working and the public like it.
“I’ve had customers say ‘I’m so glad you here, it’s nice to have a local discount shop’.
“I love having my own business and i love that the public love it too.”
