Knockout Cup last four are decided

The second round of the Hereward Sports Pinchbeck & District Summer League Knockout Cup saw Green Dragon A earn a semi-final spot with a 7-2 win at Consti Club C. There were 180s for Tim Hester and Jon Goor for the Dragon and Consti’s Jacob Herd had a 17-dart leg but still lost 2-1 to Tom Overton.
Also through are Pinchbeck FC, who beat Lincoln Arms D 8-1. Lincoln’s only winner was Dan Gent, who beat Craig Woods 2-0 in the singles. There were 180s for the Pinchbeck side’s Jason Waltham and Stan Potter. Andy Palmer had a 107 check out for the Lincoln but lost his singles 2-1 to Waltham.
League leaders Lincoln Arms A had an even easier passage with a faultless 9-0 win at the Consti Club Z. There were 180s for John Charlton and Jimmy Tenno.
Completing the last-four line-up are Services Club B, thanks to a 6-3 win at home to Consti Club B. Ady Smith and Tony Clark won the last two singles matches to seal victory.
Division B leaders Drayman’s Arms B had a 21-6 win at their A team. The only winner for the home side was Neil Levesley with a 3-0 triumph over Chris Reynolds, hitting a 113 finish on the way.
Second-placed Royal Mail Cart stayed on the tails of the top team with a 21-6 win against Consti Club A. The only win for Consti came in the pairs, with Martin Garth and Merv Pattinson taking a 3-0 victory over Dalton Sharman and Stu Page.
