Kick off year with competition and live music

A football tournament/gig with a difference is coming home to the South Holland Centre and it’s completely free to get in.

The Beautiful Game is celebrating football, the FIFA football games and live music using local musicians all at once.

The event is at 6pm on Friday, January 30, and will include a 16-player FIFA tournament.

It will also include live music with those students from the Rock School Bus playing some of the songs that have been featured in the iconic game’s soundtrack throughout the years.

A spokesman for the South Holland Centre said: “Join us for a free night of FIFA-themed fun.

“As well as a 16-player FIFA tournament there will be live music from Rock School Bus, playing iconic songs from across the game’s history including Kasabian, Bloc Party and more.”

If you want to play in the tournament you can go to www.southhollandcentre.co.uk and ‘buy’ one of the free ‘player’ tickets on the What’s On page.

You also book your free spectator tickets.

The event is produced by Ryan Gilmartin and the YEP! (Young Event Planners) with funding from the Spalding Community Alcohol Partnership.
