Joyce’s 100th birthday joy

An animal lover celebrated her 100th birthday with a visit from a Shetland pony.
Joyce Pugsley hit the century mark on Thursday, October 9 at the St John’s Care Home on Hawthorn Bank where she lives.
The home’s wellbeing coordinator said: “We had the absolute pleasure of celebrating this wonderful milestone with Joyce, our very own social butterfly here at St John’s Care Home.
“Joyce is always up for a chat and brings so much kindness and joy to everyone around her.
“She has a lifelong love for animals – especially dogs – and over the years has owned an incredible 40 dogs!
“Joyce even used to show them in competitions, sharing her passion and care with every one of them.
“Here’s to you Joyce – 100 years of laughter, love, and wonderful memories!”
