Winners of the annual competition were Eleanor Day (6), of Gosberton House School, Joshua Holmes (6), of The Garth School in Spalding, and Reece Sammons (11), of The Priory School in Spalding.

The competition is one of Mr Hayes’ favourite events of the year.
He said: “I enlist the help of my wife Susan and my boys William and Edward. We line all the entries up on the floor and choose our favourites.
“A big thank you to everyone made it possible.”

He added: “I enjoyed looking at all of the entries which were of a very high standard. The children, their families and the schools deserve to be very proud.”

Competition sponsors were Broadgate Homes, Duncan and Toplis, Springfields Shopping Outlet, Turners Fish Restaurant, Moulton Bulb Company, Pork Farms Group Spalding Bakery, Moore Thompson, GBSG Ltd, PSP IT Design and Development, and Seagate Homes.

Springfields Shopping Outlet offered a complimentary ticket to visit Santa’s grotto for all the winners.
