We’re holding a quiz night to kick off fundraising for our new charity.
The quiz is on Friday, July 17 at Spalding Services Club on High Street (7pm for 7.30pm). Our thanks to the club committee for kindly donating use of the hall.
We are accepting teams of up to eight people and tickets, priced at £6 each, include a Ploughman’s-style supper.
Tickets must be paid for in cash, either by calling into our offices in Winsover Road or on the night – but you must call ahead to book in your team.
The Spalding and South Holland Community Fund – which was launched in April to celebrate The Voice’s first year in business – will enable us to lend a financial helping hand to local people or organisations. This can be anything from an existing charity fundraising for a cause, or a deserving individual who needs something in particular to improve their quality of life.
