Join in Activate! and enjoy free summer holiday fun

Youngsters can enjoy a variety of fun-filled arts and sports activities in Sutton Bridge on Wednesday thanks to Activate!

The aim is to give young people aged between eight and 19 the chance to try a range of activities including arts and crafts, rowing machine sessions and wall climbing.

All the activities are free and there is no need to book in advance, you can simply turn up on the day and are welcome to take a picnic with you.

The final Activate! event takes place from 11am until 3pm on Wednesday, August 19 at Memorial Park in Bridge Road, Sutton Bridge.

Coun Gary Taylor, portfolio holder for community, said: “The Activate! events always prove popular and we expect that to continue.

“They are part of numerous events being held across South Holland this summer, many of which are listed in our popular Summer Fun brochure.”

The Summer Fun brochure is available for free from South Holland District Council’s offices in Priory Road, Spalding and various libraries and sports centres across the district.

The brochure can also be viewed at www.sholland.gov.uk.
