Jodie represents businesses in Downing Street

A Spalding business owner was invited to Downing Street and the House of Lords to promote Small Business Saturday, which took place at the weekend.

Jodie Mason, the founder of Lincolnshire Makers, was invited to talk about her experiences as part of a SmallBiz100 list of top independent businesses compiled by American Express which sponsors Small Business Saturday.

Following a reception for the businesses at the House of Lords, Jodie went to a reception at 11 Downing Street for a reception hosted by Chancellor Rachel Reeves.

Jodie said: “It is such an honour to be recognised on a national scale with so many inspirational business owners making the shortlist.

“I’m so glad we have been given such a special opportunity to shout about the talent Lincolnshire has to offer.

“Being invited to both the House of Lords and Downing Street is a huge privilege and an experience I feel so grateful for.”
