It’s snow joke – a weather warning has been issued for Lincolnshire

The Met Office has released a weather warning for snow in Lincolnshire on Sunday, December 10.

Weather forecasters have said we could be in line for a period of heavy snow in South Holland and released a yellow warning for snow.

The warning is due to be in effect from between 4am and 11.55pm on Sunday.

A statement from The Met Office reads: “A spell of heavy snow is possible over some central parts of the UK during Sunday.

“This could lead to road, rail and air travel delays, with the potential for vehicles to become stranded or public transport to be cancelled.

“Rural communities with limited access routes could become cut off.”
