It’s Murphy’s law as Stephen secures a victory at King’s Lynn’s Adrian Flux Arena

South Holland racers were out in force at the Adrian Flux Arena over the weekend.

The most success came in the 1300 Stock Cars, where Stephen Murphy and Dan Booth consistently finished well.

Murphy shone with a race win in an allcomers event – even more impressive given that, at the start of August, his car was almost written off in a huge smash.

Under-25 champion Ricky Ivatt, also from Spalding, collected the safety fence in the opening race which sidelined him for the rest of the evening.

Similarly in the bangers, Spalding’s Jon Cullen did not having a great afternoon of racing.

Bad luck meant he didn’t manage to mark his stamp on proceedings and unfortunately didn’t feature in the results.

The next event at the King’s Lynn venue is this Saturday night from 5pm. With more than 170 cars currently booked, an exciting meeting is in prospect.

The meeting will see the biggest Micro Banger race of the season, the UK Open, with 90 of them currently scheduled. Stoxkarts, Junior Bangers and Lady Unlimited Bangers are also on the line up.
