It’s as you were at the top of league

The top two in the Spalding and District Billiards League are holding on to their positions after this week’s matches.

Bourne SC A beat Bourne Pyramid B 5-2 to stay at the top of the division.
Elliot Gaunt (R40) and Carl Gibson (R50) were the winners, while Darrell Read (R30) beat Lester Gaunt (O10) to get the points for Pyramid.
Donington remain in second – they beat bottom-of-the league Gosberton B 5-2.
Donington’s winners were Ben Wrigglesworth (R10) and Neil Reynolds (O20), while Marcus Pell got the better of Tony Scully (R40) to score for Gosberton.
Breaks on the night came from Reynolds (32, 32, 27), Wrigglesworth (31, 23) and Pell (28, 22).
Gosberton’s Shane White (O40) knocked in a 31 and 21 while Des Forbes (R40) got a 24.
Consti B have jumped Holbeach A to move into third, after beating them 5-2.
Alan Hansard (R70) and Stewart Davies (R50) got the points for Consti, while Denis Hix (R70) was Holbeach’s only winner, beating John Bellerby (R70).
Pyramid A beat Gosberton A 5-2.
Jamie Mumby (R80) started well for Gosberton, beating Reegan Cooke-Holmes (R80), before John Twell (R70) and John Clapton (R110) hit back for Pyramid, winning against Rob Lockett (R100) and Andy Shephard (R120) respectively.
Holbeach A got the better of Consti B, winning 5-2.
Steve Spencer (R110) and Mick Johnson (O150) were Consti’s winners, while Holbeach A’s points were courtesy of Ben Harding (R30).
Johnson knocked in breaks of 51, 33, 24 unf, 23 and 22 on his way to victory, while Harding got a 32 and Jason Rose (scr), for Consti, got a 29 and a 27.
