If you’re looking to Greek out over the half term the Spalding Gentlemen’s Society are putting on an event for the whole family.
It’s hosting an interactive and hands-on workshop about The Glorious Greeks at Spalding Baptist Church on Tuesday, May 26 from 10am to 2pm.
Children can discover more about myths, gods and goddesses, try decorating pottery, learn about ancient temples, and have a go at making their own column.
They’ll also investigate ancient theatre, masks, and discover how to write their name in the Greek alphabet.
The Society’s Louisa Evans. “Participants will love immersing themselves in the lives of people from the past and trying some of their specialist skills.”
Refreshments are provided and entry is free, though a donation to the society is requested. To book a place visit www.sgsoc.org/events/glorious-greeks
