It’s a guide dog’s life talk

The latest talk to the U3A Sutton Bridge gave members paws for thought.

Mark Dickinson, from Guide Dogs for the Blind, gave the latest talk at the Curlew Centre.

The U3A’s vice chair Frank Heinrich-Tiller said: “It was a most interesting and thought provoking presentation.

“He explained that it costs over £50,000 to train a guide dog and the charity is always seeking donations as there is an 18 month waiting list for a dog.”
