It’s a demolition derby as Moulton Harrox hammer struggling Long Sutton

In-form Moulton Harrox raced to their biggest win of the ChromaSport PDFL Premier Division season on Saturday as they battered South Holland rivals Long Sutton Athletic 10-0.

The red-hot Josh Ford made it back-to-back hat-tricks at London Road, while strike partner Declan Earth also helped himself to a treble.

Joe Townsend (2), Gary Chappell and an own goal completed the rout for third-placed Harrox, who also made it seven clean sheets on the spin.

Harrox co-boss Bobby Patterson said: “As happy as I am with our professionalism and ruthlessness, it’s never nice to see teams beaten by scorelines like this – especially clubs that I have so much respect for like Long Sutton.

“All the best to them going forward.”

Harrox visit Crowland Reserves in the League Cup on Saturday (2pm).

Harrox: Murphy, McGuire, Johnson, Coddington, Chappell, Kisla, Machin, Townsend, Woodward, Earth, Ford. Subs used: Bradbury, Crane, Davies.
