Investigation continues after man’s body found in Low Fulney

Lincolnshire Police say they’re still investigating how a man’s body came to be found in a ditch in Low Fulney.

A member of the public discovered the body just off Fulney Lane South near Spalding at 9am on Saturday (November 2).

The deceased has been named as 42-year-old Przemyslaw Gebka who was last seen on Monday, October 28.

Lincolnshire Police say they’d like to hear from anyone who might have seen Mr Gebka ‘in the last few weeks’.

A police spokesman said: “Emergency Services have attended an incident in Spalding where a man was found in a stretch of water.

“The incident was called in by a member of the public just after 9am after they discovered the man in the water course at Fulney Lane South. Police and Ambulance attended but he was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

“He has now been identified as Przemyslaw Gebka, aged 42, and his next of kin have been made aware. Investigations are ongoing to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident.

“Mr Gebka was last seen on October 28 in the Spalding area, and we would like to hear from anyone who may have seen him in the last few weeks.
