Inspirational Margaret a worthy winner of Moulton Parish Citizen of the Year

Inspirational Margaret Horn has been named Moulton Parish Citizen of the Year.

She narrowly edged out John Heron and Hendrina Tibbs at an awards event with friends and family at Moulton Seas End Village Hall.

The parish council said: “All three were very worthy candidates for the award and for their involvement within the community. However, there can only be one winner, that being Margaret Horn.

“She is actively involved with Moulton Community Centre, tends flower borders in the churchyard, sings in the church choir, plays the organ at the Methodist church, perfoms in the pantomime raising much needed funds, organises singalongs at Abbeygate and distributes the village voice magazine throughout the parish.

“She is an inspiration to both young and old alike and a very worthy winner.”
