Moulton were dealt a double blow on Tuesday, losing Tom Panton and Robbie Cundy to injury during a 1-0 home defeat to March Town.
Both teams had good first-half chances and a 35th minute goal for March separated the teams at half-time.
Moulton had the better chances after the break.
Danny Cairns struck the woodwork late on as the push for an equaliser proved fruitless.

Moulton were narrowly beaten on Saturday by higher league opponents after a convincing 9-0 win over newly promoted Boston League outfit Sutterton.
Moulton put Sleaford under early pressure with a lot of hard work in very warm conditions.
Ben Allen worked tirelessly up front with plenty of runs.
Sleaford came more into the game and took the lead after 30 minutes with a strike from Mitch Griffiths.
And the lead was extended on 55 minutes.
But then Moulton got attacking with Phil Groves making good runs down the right.
This led to a more open game with both teams creating chances.
Moulton eventually pulled a goal back with ten minutes remaining through Robbie Cundy who worked tirelessly throughout the game.
Moulton pushed for an equaliser but to no avail.
Credit has to go to both teams for a good game in hot conditions and Moulton for a good showing against a higher level team.
Moulton have a friendly at Bretton North End on Saturday (2pm).

Moulton’s first friendly fixture resulted in a creditable draw.
Sleaford took the lead after 35 minutes.
Moulton battled hard throughout the second half and were rewarded with Stefan Belakov striking the equaliser.
A good performance considering the number of changes to look at all the players.
Moulton travel to Tydd St Mary on Saturday (2pm).
