In the pink for cancer charity

Over £630 was raised for Breast Cancer Care as the community in Holbeach came together for a special fundraiser.

Coun Tracey Carter put the special coffee morning on recently at The Holbeach Hub and it proved a huge success.

Attractions included a raffle with a special guest cake made by Cake Creations the star prize and Sue Webb was on hand to sell Avon products.

Coun Carter said: “The entire day was extremely well supported by the residents of Holbeach and further afield. We sold refreshments including a wide range of cakes all made and donated by residents and cake makers in the area.

“The day couldn’t have been so successful without the huge support and generosity of the residents in the local area.

“I sincerely thank each and every person who supported by helping on the day, donating, or attending.

“Holbeach showed wonderful community spirit again.”
