In court over paying work cheques into own account

A Spalding man has appeared before magistrates in Boston on allegations of changing details on 12 cheques from his place of work and paying them into his own bank account.

Slawomir Sobala, 54, of Chancery Court denied the offences, which cover a four month period from October 2019 to January 2020, and amount to a total of £6,746.

The case was adjourned to May 6 next year for a trial and he was granted unconditional bail.
