Spalding A picked up a welcome 6-3 win over Whittlesey A in Division One of the Peterborough Tennis League last week.
Martin Perkins, Joe Gill, James Bowser, Jillian Warrick, Adam Freeman and James Gregory all did their bit to help seal the win.
Spalding B were 5-4 winners over Deeping B in Division Two thanks to Carl Newell, Jamie Reeves, Ian Argent, Mike Stich and Marius Skrebe.
It was an all club-affair in Division Three, as Spalding C defeated Spalding D 7-2.
In the Boston mixed league Spalding lost 5-4 to Boston despite the efforts of Martin Perkins, Mary Clay, Lucinda Layton Hannam, Joe Gill, Stuart Nichelson and Phillipa Peach.
Spalding did beat Boston 10-2 in the Men’s Lincolnshire Doubles League, though.
