Imogen’s hair-raising cut for charity

A teenager from Holbeach Hurn has shown to be a cut above the rest after donating her long hair to charity.
Imogen Hutchinson decided to give her locks to the Little Princess Trust cancer charity after a family friend was affected by the disease.

The 16-year-old had her charity haircut at Head Office Hair Design on New Road last week after attending her Spalding High School prom.

Mum Dawn explained: “Imogen could almost sit on her hair – it was ridiculously thick.
“She’s had all this hair most of her life so to have it cut was very brave.

“We have had a friend affected by cancer so Imogen decided she wanted to do something to help.”

Imogen’s hair measured 53cm in length when it was cut. She has so far raised £120 from family and friends for the Little Princess Trust, which provides real hair wigs for children who have lost their own hair through illness.
