Illegal vapes found at Holbeach store

A hoard of illegal vapes were uncovered at a shop in Holbeach by police and Trading Standards last week.

Lincolnshire Police would not say which store the over 200 vapes were found, but said it was on Fleet Street.
It followed a visit by the force on Friday June 9.
South Holland Police said: “Always on it: Whilst on patrol last week, officers have attended a convenience store in the Holbeach area where a quantity of illegal vapes were prominently on display.
“Over 200 illegal disposable vapes were seized and will be passed onto Trading Standards for further investigation.
“Disposable vapes are restricted to 2ml (this is usually around 600 puffs).
“The vapes seized were significantly more than this.”
A police spokesman said: “It’s been passed on to Trading Standards who will continue with their investigation.”
The Voice approached Lincolnshire County Council for a statement from Trading Standards but had not received one at the time of going to press on Wednesday.
