Bogey side Leicester Nirvana are the next hurdle Holbeach United must clear in their bid to battle for the Uhlsport UCL Premier Division title.
Nirvana, who sit eighth in the table some ten points behind the fifth-placed Tigers, were 4-3 winners in the reverse fixture back in September.
They also held Danny Hussey’s side 0-0 at the end of last season, costing them fourth place.
The Holbeach boss admits the last meeting between the teams was a personal low point in his tenure – and wants to see better at Carter’s Park on Saturday (3pm).
“We’ve not got a good record against them,” said the Tigers boss. “The last time we played them, I was considering my future as the lads were that poor.
“Since then, we’ve only lost twice in 19 games and things have gone from strength to strength.
“Nirvana are very strong and they like to play a bit of football. We’ve also not got the best record against them.
“They’ll find it hard to play good football on our pitch after the recent weather, though!
“They are a good club with a manager I like a lot, so we’ll have to be at our best to get the result we want.”
Hussey expects to have a largely full-strength squad for the clash, with only long-term injury absentee Luke Avis missing.
Liam Adams returns after missing Tuesday night’s loss at Boston Town.
