Danny Hussey admits that everyone involved with Holbeach United felt that it was a case of two points dropped on Saturday.

The Tigers were held to a 0-0 draw by Uhlsport UCL Premier Division strugglers Oadby Town at Carter’s Park despite being largely dominant throughout.

It’s now 12 games unbeaten in all competitions for Holbeach and they are three points behind leaders Shepshed Dynamo in fifth.

Boss Hussey, who missed the game, said: “We’re obviously disappointed with the result, we felt we should have won.

“I understand a few of the lads weren’t quite at it, which has been the case a few times recently.

“I’m pleased with the clean sheet, we’ve got a very solid defence. But if we want to stay in and around the teams at the top, this is the kind of game we need to win.”

Tigers: Drury, Wilson, T Smith, N Jackson, Fairweather, A Jackson, J Smith, Tinkler, Frew, Bird, Adams. Subs: Withers, Lockie, Setchell, Lovelace.
