Spalding Hospice Foundation charity cake sale

Spalding Hospice Foundation got baking to raise money for the Tulip Suite at Johnson Community Hospital.

Volunteers raised £200 for the ward by holding a cake sale at the Market House, Long Sutton after one of their members passed away in the Tulip Suite recently.

Spalding Hospice Foundation treasurer Liz Sneath said: “They were so grateful for the wonderful care she received in the Tulip Suite that they decided to fundraise for us as a thank you.”

Spalding Hospice Foundation was formed in 2002 with the aim of providing 24-hour hospice beds for the people of the Spalding area who are suffering from life threatening illnesses.
