Hospice building project gets £1,500 from car club

The Spalding Classic Car Club has handed over all proceeds and donations from its recent annual classic car run.

The group presented a cheque for £1,500 to Sue Ryder’s Thorpe Hall building project at a special event held at The Goat in Frognall.

This year’s run was organised in memory of Alan Lyon, a club member who used to organise the event, who died just before Christmas in Thorpe Hall, the Sue Ryder hospice in Peterborough.

To find out more about the club visit www.seeccc.co.uk or search Spalding & East Elloe Classic Car Club on Facebook.
