Homes plan too close to neighbour

A plan to build four homes in Holbeach has been rejected over concerns of the impact it would have on a neighbour.

Adam Rulewski is looking to demolish 47 Low Road and replace it with four detached dwellings, permission for which was granted last year.

The latest application for a new layout came before South Holland District Council’s Planning Committee last week after previously being deferred, but councillors went against officer’s recommendation and refused it over concerns of how close it was to a neighbouring property.

Coun Bryan Alcock said: “The previous applications were sympathetic to the neighbour. This application seems to have no sympathy at all. You couldn’t get a property much bigger and closer to the boundary.”
