Holbeach’s Rudd brothers in fine form at Chatteris

Holbeach brothers Ryan, Ashley and Kieran Rudd all impressed for Team TRM at the first round of the Winter Series at Peterborough Motocross Club’s Chatteris track over the weekend.

In the Juniors’ section, ten-year-old Kieran grabbed a hat-trick of second places. He also grabbed two holeshots, which earned him the ‘holeshot trophy’.

Ashley had the exact same set of results in the Schoolboy group, placing second three times and also bagging two holeshots to take the fast-starting prize.

Up in the adult group, Ryan managed a fourth and two fifths.

A week earlier, Kieran performed well in his first national meeting, the MX Master Kids UK at East Trax, near King’s Lynn.

The 50 riders were split into two pools, with Kieran qualifying for the A race. On the first day he was 21st, 19th and 15th for 18th place overall. Day two’s first race saw him crash but recover to finish 25th. He was 19th and 22nd in the other two.

Meanwhile, Lee Rudd had two 7ths and an 8th in the British Supermoto National Class at Blyton.
