Holbeach United’s derby with Wisbech Town rained off on Easter Monday

The scheduled derby between Holbeach United and Wisbech Town was postponed on Easter Monday due to a waterlogged Carter’s Park pitch.

An 11am pitch inspection deemed the surface unplayable, meaning the Tigers now have another fixture to fit in to their busy end-of-season schedule.

Talks to reschedule the derby for Wednesday night have been held, but no date has yet been confirmed.

A host of other games were also postponed on Monday following the heavy rain delivered by Storm Katie.
