Holbeach United tie-up four more players and reveal their pre-season plans

Holbeach United have enjoyed a productive week off the pitch by securing the services of four more key players for next season and revealing their pre-season plans.

Tigers player/boss Tom Roberts has convinced keeper Ricky Drury, winger Aaron Eyett and striker Jake Clitheroe to remain at Carter’s Park for next season.

Also agreeing to feature for the first team next year is striker Tommy Treacher, who had spent the back end of last season with Long Sutton Athletic due to family commitments.

They join Jamie Stevens, Ollie Pinner, Nick Jackson and new recruit Adam Jackson in pledging their allegiance to the Tigers for 2016/17.

Roberts is now working on securing the services of the rest of last season’s squad and any other potential new additions.

Meanwhile, Holbeach’s pre-season friendly fixtures include a mouth-watering date with South Holland rivals Spalding United.

That clash will be the Tigers’ final pre-season date and will take place at Carter’s Park on August 2 (Tuesday night, 7.45pm).

Other stand-out clashes include a home date with Evo-Stik NPL Premier Divsion side Stamford and derby clashes with Bourne Town and Pinchbeck United.
