Holbeach United leave it late to pinch point at Deeping

Holbeach United struck twice in added time to rescue a 3-3 draw with Lincolnshire rivals Deeping Rangers on Tuesday night.

After a goalless first period, Levi Wright fired Tuncay Korkmaz’s Deeping ahead soon after the re-start, only for Ash Murrell to level matters in the 55th minute.

Matt Sparrow then hauled hosts Rangers back into the lead on 77 minutes, before Wright looked to have wrapped up the points with his second in the final minute of normal time.

However, Lee Beeson pulled one back instantly, setting the stage for Charley Sanders to net a dramatic 96th minute leveller for Darren Jarvis and his side.

The draw leaves Holbeach three points behind third-placed Thurnby Nirvana in fourth.

More to follow.
