Holbeach United began life after Graham Drury with a potentially costly UCL Premier Division derby draw against rivals Boston Town on Wednesday night.

The title-chasing Tigers fell 2-0 down early on as ex-Holbeach hitman Alex Beck (13) and former Spalding United striker Ryan Oliver (29) struck at Carter’s Park.

In-form frontman Lee Dube began the comeback with a 44th minute effort – making it nine goals in five games – before Matt Warfield’s second big goal is as many matches levelled the scores 20 minutes from time.

John Chand’s side pushed for a winner late on, but were forced to settle for a share of the spoils against the plucky Poachers.

To make matters worse, Holbeach saw striker Jamie Clarke stretchered off late on after he was seemingly knocked unconscious following a collision. Thankfully, the injury wasn’t serious.

The result leaves the Tigers in fourth, ten points behind leaders AFC Rushden and Diamonds with three games in hand.

Tigers: Conroy, Anton, Gibson, Warfield, Brown, Kirby (Cartwright), Beeson, Duffy (Parker), Dube, Clarke (Keeble), King
