Holbeach United back into top six after slaying Sleaford Town in derby clash

Holbeach United picked up a 3-1 derby victory at Sleaford Town in the ChromaSport UCL Premier Division on Wednesday night.

Nick Jackson put the Tigers ahead on 35 minutes when he nodded home Aaron Eyett’s free kick, but Ryan Parnell soon levelled at Eslaforde Park.

However, Jordan Thomas lashed home a superb second for Holbeach early in the second half, before Jake Clitheroe (65) rounded off the win with a deflected drive following another Eyett assist.

The win propels Tom Roberts’ side back into the top six.
