Holbeach St Johns carers aim for new heights

Five members of staff from a Holbeach St Johns nursing home are set to climb Snowdon to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society.

Carers Belinda Rivett, Danielle Cooper, Kayleigh Elleray, Jodie Clayton and Sarah Mason who work at Beechlodge in Frog’s Abbey Gate, are looking to raise £1,000 by climbing 1,085m to the summit of Wales’ highest mountain in June.

Activities co-ordinator Sarah Mason, said: “We are doing this to raise money and awareness about Alzheimer’s and dementia.

“We all love the jobs we do and we would like dementia and Alzheimer’s to be accepted more in society.

“None of us have done this before so this is a massive challenge for us.”

Donations can be made in person at Beechlodge Care Home or via Sarah Mason’s Just Giving page https://tinyurl.com/y36qomck
