Holbeach school staff entertain pupils with panto

Staff at a Holbeach school have put on their own pantomime to entertain the children.

William Stukeley Primary School’s adults performed Cinderella as a surprise for the children last month.
Staff rehearsed behind closed doors for eight weeks after school, at weekends and at any given opportunity to present the one-off performance to the whole school on the last day of term.

The children joined in with boos and cheers in all the right places in the production directed by Vicky Robinson.

Year two class teacher, Catherine Cuthbertson who played Cinderella said: “The whole cast and crew worked really hard to give the children the experience of a special panto in the environment of their own school.

“Their ability to enrich the children’s learning in so many ways is astounding.

“The excitement with in the school hall was electrifying!

“Well done to all the staff and volunteers for putting on such a spectacle”

The staff also wish to thank Tesco Hardwick, Kings Lynn for providing an unusual prop of a spare leg for one of the ugly sisters.
