Holbeach Parish Council considers buying town’s empty library

Holbeach Parish Council is looking to move its headquarters and is considering the disused library in town as one option.

The council is currently based at Coubro Chambers on West End in Holbeach.

Considering options for a move, members discussed several options during the September council meeting.

These included purchasing the old library, which became vacant in February.

Lincolnshire County Council told The Spalding Voice at the time there are no plans for the building.

Coun Paul Foyster proposed the decision be deferred until the October meeting.
