Holbeach Hub open day achieves aims

An event to relaunch Holbeach youth club and promote the building as a community hub has been hailed a “100 per cent” success.
One of the trustees of the “Holbeach Hub”, in Boston Road, Tracey Carter said several community groups had expressed an interest in holding meetings and events as a result of the open day.
The building boasts a room suitable for events as well as a three badminton court-sized sports hall and other facilities.
She added: “We had lots of positive comments and feedback, with many people saying they didn’t realise what was available and didn’t even know about the youth club.
“So we 100 per cent achieved what we set out to do, which was to let people know what’s on offer as the more bookings we get the more money we can plough back into the facilities and the youth club.”
